Engagement Hui #2 for Owners will be held via zoom only on Saturday 26th February 2022, at 10.00 a.m.

Tēnā anō rā tātou e whakaū nei ki te whakatutuki i ngā wawata o rātou mā! Kia kaha te honohono mai kia āta wetewetengia aua wawata kua tūkuna mai ki ō tātou ringaringa.

This is the second in a series of hui to consider development options for the Trust lands and also to discuss introducing a Trustee Rotation and Election policy.

The Trustees have decided that due to the high risk of transmission of the Covid-19 Omicron variant in the community and the Covid-19 Pandemic response requirements, this hui (combined for previously proposed hui at Tarimano Marae and Ruamata Marae) will be via zoom only.

A focus of those two marae-based hui were for the owners who derived their shares from Ngāti Uenukukōpako, Ngāti Rangiteaorere or Ngāti Rangiwewehi would each be able to consider their hapū’s collective responses as to how best to honour, maintain and enhance their connection to the block as we move into the future.

Such responses will be welcomed at the hui. Owners wishing to participate must pre-register by email to info@tumukaituna14.co.nz.  Information on how to access zoom is below.

Owners are advised that this hui will not be seeking any formal resolutions.  Any formal resolutions will be sought at the completion of the Hui engagement process after full notification of proposed resolutions.

In addition, a limited time will be made available for owners who wish to speak. Owners who wish to have speaking rights at the hui need to notify the Trust by email by Thursday 24 February, and will be subject to zoom protocols.

A third hui is proposed for Saturday 12th March 2022. A separate registration process will apply for this hui.
