Malcolm is Chairman of many land trusts and commercial entities; and with regard to forestry, the Tureporepo Lands Trust.

Waldo Te Whānau Pani Tāmihana Houia is a retired senior lecturer of the University of Waikato and Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi Indigenous university.

In 2007- mid 2008  Waldo was a visiting senior lecturer at the University of Hawaii in Hilo.

I am a member of Ngāti Rangiwewehi and Waitaha being a descendant of Te Kapaiwaho. My wife, Aroha (née Pirihi from Ngāti Hinemihi) and I have three children and two mokopuna.

We are all involved in Māori take in one way or another.

Advisors

Murray Patchell CA PP (Secretary)

Murray is a Chartered Accountant and has been a member of the NZ Institute if Chartered Accountants since 1985.

For 18 years he worked for NZ Guardian Trust (and its predecessor NZI Trust) and gained invaluable experience throughout the Waikato, Manawatu and Bay of Plenty in managing Trusts and deceased estates. 

 

Jeff Fletcher

Jeff Fletcher has 33 years Development Management and Project Management experience in the Property and Property Development sectors.

He has worked in Australia, USA and New Zealand.

Jeff has been living and working in Tauranga for the last 17 years, operating his own Development and Project Management Consultancy, Bconn Limited for the last 11 years.

Leo Watson

Leo Watson graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Māori Language and Customs). 

He practices as a barrister and solicitor from Napier, Hawkes Bay and lives there with his wife Phillippa of Ngāti Kahungunu and they have six children.  

 

Mike Morgan

Mike Morgan is the digital strategy advisor for Te Tumu Kaituna 14 Trust.

With his team, he looks after digital marketing including upgrades to the website, the official Facebook page and promotions, website content, digital communications, search engine optimisation, analytics, tracking and more.
